Pain Management

Pain Management

When someone comes to therapy they are, more often than not, in pain, unable to work or participate in their favorite activity, or even unable to complete daily self care without assistance. Whether it be from a recent injury or an issue that has been nagging for a long time, Physical and Occupational therapy can not only help you regain independence and function but also help with managing pain with decreased need for medications.

LOPT’s approach with therapy treatment is unique, in that it is specific to each individual; care is taken into developing a plan to help each patient achieve not only their physical goals but overcome any mental barriers that can hinder progress. While physical function is very important, confidence and being able to understand the neuroscience of pain is pertinent in long term recovery.
