Rachel earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Dakota in 2021. Her areas of focus as a practitioner include an evidence-based and holistic approach to the upper extremity. Originally a Black Hills native, competing on the Nebraska Wesleyan University Women’s Golf team brought Rachel to Lincoln where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. It was during this time she fell in love with the Lincoln community.
Rachel is passionate about providing therapy to the upper extremity to establish and restore functionality to individuals with an emphasis on continuity of care and utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. Her enthusiasm for Occupational Therapy is fueled by the profession’s roots in mental health and creative lens to incorporate client’s everyday tasks into interventions. Through Occupational Therapy, Rachel strives to empower her clients to return to the meaningful tasks and roles that fill their day.
Rachel finds joy in the outdoors, being emersed in new cultures and good competition whether it be corn hole, a board game, or cheering on her favorite teams. She is happiest with her husband Jake, good pals, good food and live music.
