Kegan became interested in therapy after suffering an injury during high school football and going through Physical Therapy at a local clinic. In that time, he saw the impact that therapy could have and the difference that a therapist could make for their patients. His interest in Occupational Therapy began right here at LOPT’s East location during an undergraduate internship. That interest turned into a passion for the profession as it combines physical and mental rehabilitation with a creative and collaborative approach to therapy. 

A native of Waverly, Nebraska, Kegan received his Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Fitness Studies from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2014. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2018. 

Before joining Lincoln Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2022, Kegan worked as an Occupational Therapist in Oak Harbor, Washington, focusing on post operative, upper extremity and hand therapy. 

Kegan enjoys spending his time outdoors, whether it be hiking, biking, playing recreational volleyball, skiing, or watching sports.
