Emmylou graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology-Health Sciences. She went on to attend Creighton University where she obtained her Occupational Therapy Doctorate in 2015.
Emmylou chose to become a hand therapist because of the essential role the upper limb plays in all aspects of daily life. She is passionate about helping individuals regain function and independence through meaningful activities, custom orthotic fabrication, work simulation, and therapeutic modalities.
Outside of work Emmylou enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, trip planning through her travel company, and volunteering with Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and her church.
